The track The Lighthouse that Vincent Villuis and I was a part of writing for the amazing Stevie Nicks, was performed live on the iconic Saturday Night Live! It was such a special moment seeing our work featured on this legendary show. Well done Stevie!! Check it out!
Nicks will be performing the song as the featured musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” Oct. 12, a week that finds Ariana Grande hosting. This will mark her first “SNL” appearance since December 1983, when she was promoting her second solo album.

Music fans voted in a poll published Friday (Sept. 27) on Billboard, choosing the rock icon’s fresh song as their favorite new music release of the past week.
The poll presented stiff competition, but Nicks’ new song brought in almost 72% of the vote. Voters this week chose “The Lighthouse” over hot new music releases from talent including Lady Gaga, The Weeknd and Playboi Carti, Rosalía featuring Ralphie Choo, and more.

Co-written by Magnus Birgersson and Vincent Villuis, featuring additional contributions from Sheryl Crow, this track blends the unique sound of “Something Heavens” with Stevie Nicks iconic style.

Origin #02 features a collection of musical tracks and ideas that Magnus initially began crafting between 2003 and 2009. It wasn’t until 2012-13 that he meticulously curated these tracks and embarked on a creative journey to bring them to completion.

Warm groovy rhythms set the pace while we drift through deep electronica washed by waves of ethereal pads and mesmerizing melodies.

For the third time I felt inspired to dig through my archives for musical ideas and tracks which i had started working on many years ago yet never completed for various reasons. After going through my old hard drives I picked out 10 pieces to work on and finalize, some from as far back as 2006, which together now form this new album, Origin # 03.
The date of creation holds some significance for me, a reflection of the feelings alive then, recorded in sound.
All Track titles in this series link you back to their original date of inception, their “Origin”, a journey through time.
